Pratap has been in the climate and cleantech space since 2009. From being one of the pioneers in solar in the early days of the National Solar Mission (24MW commissioned), he has know pivoted to supporting climate and cleantech startups throughout South Asia as one of the necessary and key enablers or a transition to a truly sustainable world. From founding the Climate Collective, he leads, among other things, the Climate Launchpad program in India as well as Nexus South Asia.
He has degrees from Harvard and Oxford.
Pramod Raju has been advising Indian Companies since 2000 as an Investment Banker with UBS Warburg and Goldman Sachs. He has worked with India’s leading infrastructure companies, giving him a deep understanding of the Indian Energy Sector. He founded PR Group, an investment advisory for the infrastructure sector which grew into renewable energy as well as cleantech incubation. Pramod has a B.A. from UPenn and a M.D. from NYU School of Medicine.
Nalin Agarwal has been working on developing innovation support facilities for climate startups at the Climate Collective, focusing on acceleration programs; developing Derisk Power, a platform to enable capital into distributed energy projects; and, is building an open-data tool for analysing municipal performance. He was earlier an Associate Partner with PR Fonroche, where he helped commission a total of 22MWp solar PV projects. Nalin has a MSc in Sustainable Energy from the Imperial College London, and a B.Tech. (Mechanical) from MNIT Jaipur.
Jui started her career as an I.T engineer and soon moved to the social development sector. She has worked with NGOs in sustainability and as an education consultant for 4 years. She then turned her focus completely to sustainability, and has been a consultant for 2 years, measuring and reporting impact assessments for corporates, public utilities and non-profits – across their supply chain and CSR programs. Currently she manages ClimateLaunchpad, South Asia with the Climate Collective and focusses on research and developing modules on impact assessments for green start-ups.
She is an I.T engineer from Pune University and MSc. In Climate Change and Sustainability studies from Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS).
Sachin started his career in IT platform holds bachelor in commerce from past 6 year he has been handling system analyst assignments and soon after he shifted to operational management assignment for 2 year for retails market and real-estate construction.
Now his spirit focuses on environmental science (ClimateLaunchpad South Asia) for more than a year and continuing his journey.
Samantha Benjamin is an Environmental Science graduate from Mount Carmel College, Bengaluru. As a student she has been a part of many campaigns and has volunteered for Environment and Climate related causes and continues to do so even today, during her education she interned at an Event management company. Soon after she graduated, she interned as a Research Associate for Ashwin Mahesh at Mapunity. Her passion towards the Environment has kept her going in the same field and is looking forward in pursuing her Post-graduation in Environment and Sustainability.
