Climate Runway is an early-state accelerator to support promising startups from Climate Launchpad and elsewhere with a 9-month program to help get startups ready for their first commercial pilot or early sales. It is designed to take startups who have completed Climate Launchpad or a similar program, building upon early validation of an innovation with customers and supporting startups up to their first commercial pilot or early sales.
The first Climate Runway has been set up in Maharashtra in partnership with Science and Technology Park (STP), Pune. STP Climate Runway will support promising startups from four states in India – Maharashtra, Gujarat, Rajasthan, and Goa — as well as Mauritius. The accelerator is expected to leaunch in September.
The Collective is looking to set up two more Climate Runways:
- Climate Runway, Chennai
- Supporting startups from the six southern states + Sri Lanka + Maldives
- Climate Runway, Delhi
- Supporting startups from northern India + Nepal
